Random Things in December

Its been awhile since I last posted something here, due to my busy schedule and no internet connection at home I am not able to post anything.

I think this will be the only time that I could post something.

But what will I post here, maybe just random things and experiences that happened this December.

We will start now:
1. We qualified in the Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC) held in Pangasinan last December 7 to 10, we represented Vigan Divison. Unfortunately I did not win anything, but its okay, because representing our Division is already an honor. And that's not all at that time I win some friends. *giggle*

2. I missed our pass-in-review because of the contest and that is very important because my position in our CAT is S1, adjutant. I should have been the one who will be shouting or making some commands *ABALANGAY*.

3. I did not attend Mass on Dec. 8 and it is the celebration of the Immaculate Concepcion, this celebration is included as one of the Holidays of obligations for Christians. Too bad, I am not able to attend and not even made any Church visit.

4. We have our 3rd Grading Periodical Exams, and I did not review much,.I hope that I got some good grades *cross-fingers*

5. Dec. 19, High School Christmas Program. As part of the program I and my co-KOA will have to present a dance number and guess what we have performed???
- a mix of songs including NOBODY by the WONDER GIRLS.. haha

6. Join some contest sponsored by the ILOCOS SURIAN of HAWAII.

7. I attended only FIVE(5) Simbang Gabi, that would be 5/9

8. Dec. 22, a date to remember, I gotta mark that day on the calendar. Why? just don't ask...

9. I attended the Christmas Eve Mass and Christmas Day Mass. That would be 24 and 25. In that two days there are lot of foods: sweet ham, spaghetti, cheese rolls, pizza pies, roasted chicken, and etc...

10. Dec. 27, My Dad's Birthday.... MASS + MALL +CHICKENS + BARBECUES +SHOPPING + ICE CREAM = 3x the FUN.....

11. Dec. 30, we went to Labnig, San Juan ILOCOS SUR to make some research study for my project in ENGLISH subject. My project is all about the BA-rangay Demofarm.

12. Dec. 31... last day of December 2009, I gotta make this day productive.. I hope so..

6 hours and 30 minutes more before the birth of Christ, CHRISTMAS.

Would it be a happy Christmas?

Ahaha... We will see, but as far as I know it would be a happy one.


I am already excited for the things that will happen tonight and will be happening tomorrow.

New Classmate

Yesterday we have already meet our new classmate, Sharmaine. She she's a transferee from UNP to DWCV. The reason is CONFIDENTIAL.

Well the latter is the new addition to S(C)harmaine 2x and that makes them S(C)harmaine 3x. Because in our class we have already two: Sharmaine A. and Charmaine Q. plus her Sharmaine C. that makes them S(C)harmaine 3x.

Well that is all for now..

Back to Normal

After a week of devastation of the typhoon Peping here in the North, everything is back to normal; works, leisure, hobbies, past times, and education (study) are just some.

Today in our school, it is good to see everyone with a big smiles on their beautiful faces.
What can I say, It is anew day. Just like what our father president told us "After a storm, there is a new dawn, there is a new morning"

Pepeng is dancing

Wah, everybody thought Pepeng was moving out of Ilocos but it happened that it gradually slowed and stationed here in the North. Now it changes direction and hopes it will not go back here again.

Got no current..

Finally the typhoon Pepeng already gone in our region, but we still got no current at home. I am just using the computer here in the Municipal hall.

Earlier I just join the Relief Goods giving conducted by our Municipality lead by our Mayor and Vice Mayor, whom is my father. We gave reliefs to those who are leaving near the sea.

The storm just passed Ilocos Sur but weather forecast tells that there will be another typhoon coming. Well that's it now, hope that the coming typhoon is not as strong as Pepeng. *prays*

Worried

Wah, I am really worried about my Math Project, Because I think I got a very low grade. This S**KS

This is weird..haha

I really don't know what to do, It seems that its not working at all
Do I need to give her up to save myself from problems
Because I am not really used to this kind of LOVE problems, that is why
Giving her up is not my option anyway, I know a simple talk can make it
But my pride wouldn't let me do that thing, which I think its silly
Anyway I have already said sorry, its now up to her
Either she accepts it or not, it would still be different
Everything will change and memories will just fade

My Computer Subject Activity

Today at school when we have our computer subject, we have our 1st activity on Adobe photoshop. Our activity is to erase the background of a picture of our choice then paste a new background to it.

Symposium

Today, the school hosted a symposium regarding to students concerns specifically about drugs awareness and fraternity matters, this symposium is part of the project of the City Government of Vigan in maintaining peace and order in the city . We have two guest speakers, Atty. Gerwin Rabang and the other one I forgot the name they are both teaching in University of Northern Philippines or UNP and they are part of the City Government Peace and Order Unit something like that.

I got 20 pounds...

Today I got 20 pounds!!!!!

Maybe you are thinking that my initial weight has gone up to 2o pounds today, well too bad that's not it. Because the pounds that I am talking about is a currency. Yes, I am talking about money.

Today my mother and I traded moneys, my mother gave me 20 pounds and I gave her the equivalent value in peso. lolx. At first place I never wanted to trade but my mother insisted that is why I just say yes..

Commando Quiz Bee

Every week DWRS Commando Radyo is having a program called Commando Quiz Bee. As the program name implies it is understood as a contest the only difference to the other quiz bees is that it is aired live on the radio around noon time every Saturday. Contestants(2) are High School students from private and public schools here in Ilocos.

Today, I and Matthew (team mate) were the one who represented our school in the said event. We are the first one from school who will be joining and the first time of the school to join the event so our coach and us don't have really any idea of the questions that will be asked in the quiz bee. It just like we are the one who tested the waters.*laughs*. But nevertheless we've won the quiz bee. At first we really didn't expect that we could win this one because we really don't have a formal review, but luckily the questions are somewhat familiar to us or should I say we know the answers to the questions. The only thing we are expecting is that we could gain some experience.

After winning, they awarded us certificates, cash prices and medals. The experience just not end there because after that one they interviewed us relating to the quiz bee, I can not imagine what just happened because finally my voice will be aired for the first time (hope not the last time).

In every competition there are winners and as well as losers, but winning is not the ultimate reward we can get, because experience is the ultimate.

2nd prelims...

2nd prelims is over, I just hope I got reasonable scores so I could maintain my position in the top 10 list.*prays*

Some tests are easy like in computer, mapeh, and ep but some are quite hard like in physics and ap. The first day was just okay, but in the second day it was a bad day, because I did not finished the test on physics on time, I think that will cause me a lot. Third day was super okay, cause the tests are easy.

After all that tiring three day of exams, it is nice to seat
down and relax and have a can of root beer in hand.haha

It has been a long time...
.........the last time I have root beer was last year.

Well that's it, maybe I just gonna put extra efforts next time and for me to recover I just have to be active and recite that is my only hope for now.

HALO, HALO

Last April 7, 2009 around 1:00 - 2:00 in the afternoon, if you have noticed the sky, the sun is surrounded with a rainbow. This rainbow lis actually called "Solar Halo", is an athmospheric phenomenan caused by refraction of light. Solar Halo occurs few times in a year.

FEB 22, 2009

February 22, 2009. Today I did things that I don't usually do, things that are not on my Sunday routine. Usually during Sundays I just go to serve and attend mass at the same time and after that eat some snacks and go home.But today I did very different things.

After serving and attending mass I, my big bro, my lola and my aunt went to Max's restaurant to have our lunch. After eating I and my big bro went to Netopia to play lan/internet games and to continue our duel in Defense of the Ancient (DotA) while my lola and aunt walked around Plaza Salcedo. After the 2 - 3 hours of playing I and my big bro we went also to Plaza Salcedo which is the meeting place for us four. Then we've decided to head back to Max's to have our snacks. After having our snacks I and my aunt went to the Public Market to buy some Pasalubongs for her bestfriends in the U.S. because she's only here for a vacation. While my big bro and lola went to Plaza Burgos and waited for us until we come back. After buying, I and my aunt returned back to Plaza Burgos where my big bro and lola waited for us. And then we four have another snacks but I considered it as a dinner already, now on the small stands in the Plaza . My father fetched us, and we've reached home at 6:50 in the evening.

This is really a n unusual day for me becaused for the whole day I am outside the house and it is SUNDAY. And all I have done is to eat and eat and eat, walk and walk and walk, and most of all waste some money. nyaha.

Campus Titles

Every school year JS Prom is exercised at our school, DWCV. And the turnover ceremony is one of the highlights of the said event. It is where the predecessors(seniors) turns over their respective titles to their successors(juniors). The titles to be turn overed are the following: alma mater, campus leader, campus, wizard, campus virtue and campus figure.

Juniors Seniors Promenade or widely known as JS Prom, almost every school (secondary level/high school) in the Philippines exercise this event. The event usually starts fist with the promenade, where junior and senior students walked in the public with partners. Second is the class will and class prophecy of the seniors. And next is the candle lighting ceremony, where participants usually the seniors lit a candle and give it to the participating juniors. The juniors will also give some tokens. And another is the turn over ceremony (campus titles). Dance parts usually between each ceremonies and others (e.g. welcome address, messages, and etc.). And last is the awarding of mr and miss JS prom (prom king/prom queen) and etc.

Take My Commands

Last Saturday January 31, 2009 we have our Cadet Officers Qualifying Course (C.O.Q.C.) Final Training at St. Catherine Beach (Calawaan, Tamorong, Sta. Catalina, Ilocos Sur). The training began at 7:30 in the morning until 4:30 in the afternoon. We are assisted by the C.A.T. Cadet/Cadette Officers of the Divine Word College of Vigan (D.W.C.V.). The main objectives of this training (culmination) is to uplift our discipline, cooperation, leadership, and camaraderie among ourselves and especially our subordinates.
